RALLYE

“Too rock for pop and too pop for rock. Too mainstream for indie and too indie for mainstream.” It might sound like a statement of failure, but for Rallye, it’s a calling — and a promise for the future. Active for five years, the quintet from Colombes (92) and creators of two EPs (L’Âge d’Or, 2021, and Cheval 2_3, 2023), Baptiste, Stan, Léo, Greg, and Hugo (the Toulouse native who joined later alongside Eloi) bring a breath of fresh air to French rock and pop.

A lifelong Phoenix fan, initially inspired by Tame Impala like many of their contemporaries but also close to a new French scene represented by Oklou, Rallye has always prided itself on blurring boundaries and refusing compromise. Recently signed to Because Music, the five-headed hydra is about to achieve a hat-trick by releasing a new EP, La vérité sur Rallye, single by single. Quite the program.
