Meeting in 2022, Artemisia and Ugo quickly formed a strong artistic and personal connection. Artemisia is a singer and actress, while Ugo is a producer and topliner. The two explore gender dynamics with intelligence and lightness, challenging stereotypes and normalizing important topics like consent, masculism, sugar daddies, and paternal influence. They aim to convey these messages without being moralizing, preferring to keep things light and sweet to reach a wide audience, including children. Their goal is to positively change societal representations. Their first single, “Cabrioles”, a drum’n’bass-driven track with airy synths and warm bass, was a hit, gaining millions of views. With their new track “Alpha”, set to an infectious Afro beat, they continue to challenge gender clichés and assert their desire to break free from them.
