Metronomy

Under the impulse of Joseph Mount, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Metronomy has established itself since the early 2000s as one of the most distinctive bands blending electronic pop and indie rock.

Inspired as much by Devo and David Bowie as by N.E.R.D. or Pavement, Joseph laid the foundations of the band’s sonic universe with Pip Paine (Pay the £5000 You Owe) in 2006, before refining his style on albums such as The English Riviera (nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2011), Love Letters (2014), or Metronomy Forever (2019).

Between tributes to soul, retro-futuristic sounds, and recent collaborations with Biig Piig, spill tab, or Nourished by Time, Metronomy continues to renew its creativity more than twenty years after its beginnings.
