The Role

The Manager, Accounting (AMRA) is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial results, reporting, and audit readiness for the AMRA business unit. This role plays a critical part in translating complex digital revenue and operational activity into accurate financial reporting.
You will lead the close process, partner closely with operational and finance stakeholders, and help strengthen financial controls and reporting reliability. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key business unit while mentoring staff and improving accounting processes within a fast-growing global music company.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for AMRA, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with AMRA Operations to ensure accurate translation of operational activity into financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Financial Systems and Operations teams to improve invoicing and reporting workflows in NetSuite.
  • Work closely with FP&A to ensure accurate reporting, analysis, and financial integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Serve as primary contact for external auditors, managing audit preparation and execution.
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, supporting their development and performance.
  • Drive process improvements to strengthen reporting efficiency and accuracy.

What You’ll Bring

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Skills That Could Add Value:

Music industry experience.
NetSuite experience.
Experience managing or mentoring staff.
